Out [of nowhere].

Curious observations. Moments differ from one location to the other, yet everything remains the same.
Out [of nowhere] is a series of place-studies. A type of  "LanDguage" as some would say...
Writing further into the distance with optics and shutters and sensors, previously film.
This will become a new series of works for 02011-02012.

Study: Nota Bene, SJ.

For viewing only.
Developments.

[Z.]

Fall. Down.

Slow changes.
Light flows like water over sand.

[Z.]

From Last Summer.

[Z.]

110 km/h.

Things are viewed differently at some speeds.
Blink.
Click.
Nothing else makes light behave like this.

[Z.]

Darkness.

Faint whispers of structure, shadow architectures.
If your name was a tree...

[Z.]

Topologies (Black) for 02010-02011...

As I venture through these places, I try and collect these moments for you.

Curation:

Upon moving around for so long, you get used to seeing things in new ways.

Sometimes the signs don't make much sense, but then they are beautiful.

There will always be discovery through failure...

Enjoy.

A new series emerges from the darkness...

[Z.]

Time and Commitment.

Art.

[Z.]

Uniform (less).

Subjective spaces. We are our own gnomons.

Light surrounds, disperses, envelops.

Only one perspective, necessary focus.

The detail was important.

[Z.]

Axis.

We were made for specific moments and places.

[Z.]

The One I Had Missed.

Subtlety is everything.

[Z.]

Punctuation.

[Z.]

Ipsa Scientia Potestas Est.

Knowledge.

[Z.]

Tranquil.

In the motion of days and movement, there it lies.

[Z.]

Inter Alia...

Juxtaposition.

[Z.]

Camera | In Actu

In Situ | In Actu

[Z.]

Two Paths.

Take the fork...

It will always bring you to discovery.

[Z.]

Untitled (On Logging).

New series perhaps?

I am absconding with my camera as of late...

Suomi, as space becomes place...

[Z.]

Stride: Suomi.

There are places, and then there are spaces.

Motion, transparency, I understand new things.

Everyday.

[Z.]

Time.

Time is marked by itself, self wounding.

Abrasions and lines follow fluidly falling into protuberances.

Water waits, still, cultivating potential,

While light meanders over furrow, sets inside and continues.

[Z.]

And for the Road...

Blur. The lines always mark the road ahead.

The road ahead lines the landscape.

And the landscape lines the horizon.

Darkness has enough light to permit new perspectives.

[Z.]

Found...

in the sky.

[Z.]

Lost...

in the funhouse.

[Z.]

Spinning...

How planes and trains take you away in many ways...

I am where I am.

This place opens new doors, spiralling into new way of seeing, new ways of making.

[Z.]

Field I.

Space creates space.

[Z.]

Flight.

Circumstance.

Navigational techniques. Circumvent. Inadvertent.

From a while back now.

Was lost in the well I guess...

[Z.]

Division.

Shadows splitting.

[Z.]

Appearance.

of lines.

[Z.]

Sketching.

Once there was a circle. Then a square. In came some lines.

Viewfinder. Compose. Focus. Process.

When things happen for reasons unexplained.

When reasons explain process.

When process confounds reason.

When reasoning with process.

When processing with reason.

Circle[Squared]+

[Z.]

Left/Right.

The days seem to bring seamless aesthetics...

[Z.]

Spin.

The centre is near.

Fog. Again.
