Knowing who you are...

On days when being is within us.

To live with ghosts requires solitude.

In the time it takes to send myself to you...

The rotation turns from flow through trine and all along keeps the measurement of you.
Around you, partially, without loosing sight.
A list of things appears annotated by picas of parsecs, fragments of the lines that draw you.
Knowing is all that matters.
Draped in an ell of light.

02009.

OX

Second guessing movement.

Traveling around the axis in parallel ways.

Not coming soon.

Unbuilding.

Coming soon.

Rebuilding something that never existed.

Overtaken.

The desert still screams
Under sun and sky and cloud
like breath over skin

The Entire World.

So, this is it. All of it.
An entire orange once fit in this skin.
Now gone, the vessel dried out, but still structurally intact.
A new architecture. Complete in itself.

Searching, Seeking.

well, the zeit/kaïros/chronos/Ad Tempus/time is almost here.

One must collect more from this land... there are riches plentiful.

InterConnections.

I knew the time would come when people would begin noticing. Now the future can happen...

This is how we can understand.

This is where we can ask.

As I search the long lonely road into the connection[s] of everything, sometimes I get a glimpse into the sliver of the ever elusive light of understanding. I'm glad some people do.

Use is apparent.

Similarities. Do images appear, beginning with what we can create, or what exists?

Get what you need.

Sometimes we need to search inside, deeper, in order to find what we really want.

Strike.

Attempting is not enough. Assertion is necessary.

Some things have always been there, waiting for perception to change...

Suddenly it occurred to me today, representation always stems from a concrete, key subject.

Place-ism: Topos I.

Place is where you are. Place is where you spend time. Time spent in a place is what makes it a place. I could be wrong, but landscape that surrounds you sometimes feels foreign until you look at it properly. Then and only then will you realize it is a place... and not just space.

Steam Clouds

this is what it is like?
I want my money back... where is the sun?
Hiding, that's where, hiding!

Austria...

Well we begin anew, from the foot of mountains towering over us.
There will be some images soon. Give me time to breathe...

Wonder Animals.

Recently, while having supper at a restaurant, I was given a dinner roll. While picking it apart, it reminded me of sculptural clay. I began sculpting this dough because I would not eat it and I knew it would be thrown out. I was doing my part to recycle this material, and use it for a good cause: Art.

I sculpted a kangaroo. Then, I had a revelation…

I am aiming for hundreds, if not thousands of small animal sculptures for this exhibition project. This project is in its infancy. I have only begun the sculptures. This project will be ready for exhibition in the spring of 02009.

Please sir, more bread.

About bread sculptures.

Bread sculptures will be a project using bread and buns received at various restaurants I will be visiting in the future. This bread will be sculpted into small animals either at the venue or after the fact. I am currently exploring this material because, most of the time, the quality of these types of breads is very poor, and I would like to show the potential of the material. Also, I am using this material because, as I will not eat it, it is served and usually goes into the garbage; therefore, I will be doing my part in recycling and making Art at the same time!
I guess I also wonder why some (fancy?) restaurants would serve a bun that is so awful with a relatively expensive meal...
Besides, what is this bread made with? What kind of bread has so much malleability it feels like sculpting plasticine?

Getting lost...

is no grand feat, is it?

Seeing things...

Ok, so I haven't been blogging much.
I've been busy with stuff, not things (because things are always more interesting!).

Future?

The shop of the future?
...need I say more...
been long.
I will begin doing things more frequently.
I need to.
necessity is.

Sometimes there are ugly distortions of memory.

"...as emptiness lies there, like the black, cold pool it is."

and we can still see the distance... from here it looks like a long road.

And the sky would become immense.

The Mighty Exit.
Forever a just a doorway.
Perhaps this is the liminal space...

Subjects are changing and there is still good in the world, this I am certain.

Composing with these turn of events at the moment.
[ReFocusing]
Sometimes Depth of Field is what we need...

So now I work (for you).

And the process begins anew.
I am fully capable of understanding things, this I know.
You taught me strange, wonderful things...

Incongruous Commodification: A Pathology.

This new work redefines things...
I catch myself in disbelief, unknowingly escaping the absolute.

The Behavior of Unidentifiable Networks...

I have been quite anxious as of late. New work is becoming the obsession of the times. I am seeing it again. Something always lurks in the shadows. Trust it...

...and, last.

New work... finally. I am enjoying the new that I had forgotten. Regina Spektor says "try to love the things you took," I wonder if she is referring to photography? This one is for the Masta. He knows the significance of everything. Especially this.

Light is definitely misunderstood. I am at one with the ghosts of photographers past.... 'tis the season.

I bend to the will of the road.

Oh, and sometimes there is mystery left within our communities. This November, there seems to be a misunderstanding between light and darkness...

We never really know where we will end up... just when we thought we did.
